Fine Ecuadorian straw hand woven in a brisa pattern. This hat is made with no leather or any other animal products.

Each hat is worked by hand to transform it into something truly unique and aesthetically satisfying- no two will be identical. Recapitate hats are handcrafted in the Mojave Desert one hat at a time. Each carefully built for you by musician/hatter Todd Fink (The Faint).

Color: Black with brownish weathering

Crown: Classic pinch

Brim: Wide brim. Flat with a frayed pencil curled edge

Straw: Hand woven toquilla palm straw from Ecuador

Sweatband: Black cotton sweatband. Optional black leather (add $25)

Hat band: Dark aged hemp cord

Liner: None (Add a linen liner for $25)
